December Updates

Christmas Sweater Party
Mon, Dec. 12
6:00-7:30pm
Dollarhide's Music Center

You do not want to miss this festive night for the family. Please mark your calendars and make every possible effort to be there with your musician. We'll have light refreshments, games, Christmas songs, and caroling. All the entertainment will be provided by your children! What's the catch? It's a sweater party, so wear a sweater. Ugly. Festive. Funny. Solid color. It doesn't matter. Wear your Santa hats and Reindeer ears if you like and come out to enjoy the Christmas music. It is a casual recital and open to all family and friends. To help cover the cost of the party, $2 will be used from the Materials Account.

I have a sign up sheet on my announcement board for those of you who like to bake holiday goodies. If anyone would like to bring two dozen cookies (or other finger-food dessert), please sign up on my board this week or e-mail me.

Keyboards at Christmas
Sunday, December 4th
6:00pm
Olive Baptist Church

Imagine seven grand pianos and an organ playing simultaneously! I am privileged to be a part of this group performing this coming Sunday night. Admission is free. I would love to see you there. I ask that my students attend at least one piano concert a year. This would meet that requirement. More info at: http://www.olivebaptist.org/Music/#Keyboards

Make Up Lessons
Dec. 17 & 19th

For those of you who missed a lesson when I was gone for my dad's funeral, I will be offering make up lessons at the end of the term. An e-mail will go out to you with scheduled times.
As stated in the studio policies, I only offer one make-up lesson per semester. As much as possible help your child to be present at each lesson. Please do not plan events around my making up the lesson. Make-up lessons should be rare and for emergencies or sickness only.
If I have to cancel a lessons, I will always offer a make-up, and this does not count against your one make-up per semester.
