Concerto Craziness
I've been bit by the concerto bug and I love it. I had 4 students play concertos at Festival and I had 2 play concertos at the Concerto Contest. Congratulations to Nataniel Agustin for placing 3rd in the Elementary Division with Concerto in G, Mvt 1 by Vandall.
Congratulations to Daniel Perkins for placing 2nd in the Intermediate Division with Concerto #2 in Bb Major by Beethoven. It was a beast of a song!
Student Day Schedule
Student Day always brings me mixed emotions. I'm thrilled to see how far my students have come in a year, but I'm also sad knowing the end of the school year is drawing to a close. Regardless, I'm eager to see how everyone does. Best of luck and practice smart! Those below listed with "Aural Test" need to take a "Theory Test" on their own free time between the hours of 9:30-3:00. Many have time in between Aural and Performance Tests to take their Written Theory Test. However, if they do not have at least 20-25 minutes in between I'd recommend coming a half hour earlier or staying a half hour later.
