Student of the Month

Jasmine Nguyen

Jasmine is in the 5th grade and is in her second year studying with me. She has hit some landmark achievements this month. Jasmine has learned all her sharp scales, two octaves HT; she has learned how "to swing 8th notes"; and now she is learning how to play Rag music. On top of that, she has done well learning "extra" music outside of her lesson book. Keep up the good work, Jasmine!


Most Improved Student of the Month

Rachel Hilliard

I do not usually give this award out each month, but I saw so much progress in one month that I had to do this. Rachel is in the 5th grade and enjoys music, Girl Scouts, Pensacola Childrens Chorus, and reading. In February Rachel conquered all her sharp scales, one octave HT; memorized her Sonata Contest song with a metronome, and has made good progress in her lesson book. Keep up the good work, Rachel.
