November Announcements

New Students
I'd like to welcome two new piano students this year: Ashlyn Yenzer and Reese Yeager.

Tuition
In an effort to simplify my life a bit, I am asking that tuition by paid at the last lesson of each month for the upcoming month. This is a change from previous years. I will send home a reminder as we approach the end of the each month. Thank you for your help.
Baroque Festival
November 10th at Dollarhide's Music Center
Several of my students will be participating in the PMTA Baroque Festival. This is quite an achievement to be playing music by Baroque composers, such as Bach, Handel, and Scarlatti. This is free to watch and open to everyone to attend. Dress is Sunday dress. Participants should show up and check in at least 15 minutes ahead of time. Palafox will be closed on Nov 10, so please take a side street. The parking lot behind Dollarhide's will be open. Parents, please encourage your student to work on being "performance ready" with their Baroque song.

3:00 Recital:  Connor Stibolt
4:30 Recital:  Katie Hilliard, Rachel Hilliard, Nataniel Agustin, Basil Kuloba, Tucker Ward, Daniel Perkins,  Elizabeth Kim, Jacqueline Kim, Grace Kim, Adelle Day, Alani Day

Christmas Party
December 17th, Monday, 6:00pm at Dollarhide's Music Center
The Christmas Party is always a highlight to each studio year. One student still talks about the food from last year! Make plans to be there that night. This is open to family and friends. We will have refreshments, desserts, sing carols, and listen to Christmas songs. All of our piano music that evening will be duets. If you cannot make that night, please let me know right away. Otherwise, I will plan on hearing everyone play that evening.

Make-Up Lesson
December 15th, Saturday morning
Each semester I will offer 1 make-up lesson for an absence. If your child has missed a lesson from Sep-Dec, one make-up will be offered this day. Times will be scheduled during upcoming lessons.

October Honor Club
Honoring those who finished all their work each week and received an A in each lesson. Those who earn Honor Club for 6 months will receive a composer statue at the Awards Recital in May.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Chloe Stibolt

Chloe is an 8th grader and enjoys listening to music, reading the Hunger Games, and knitting. She is starting her 3rd year of piano with me and has just completed another Lesson & Theory Book. Her positive attitude and faithfulness to improving have really impressed me. She is so motivated to get better at each lesson. I'm really proud of how far you have come. Good work!
