March Anouncements
Federation Festival
Congratulations to all who played and took a theory test. My students received 36 Superiors that day. I am so proud of each one who participated in this great event. Thank you parents for bringing your child to Niceville for the day.

Sonata Contest
March 9th
UWF, Center for Fine and Performing Arts
See previous post for performance times and directions.

Student Day
April 13
Pensacola State College
Times: TBA

Please help your student prepare for this end of the year evaluation by checking your folder carefully. There are specific techniques that your student must show to pass his level. As long as my directions are being followed exactly each week, this will be an easy review. For completing each level of piano, your student will earn a certificate. There is the potential for earning an honors medal for excelling in his level.

Upcoming Dates
March 23 - Concerto Contest (UWF)
May 17 - Awards Recital (Dollarhides)
May 18 - Music Development Program (PSC)

February Student of the Month
Ashlyn Doty

Ashlyn is a 8th grader in her first year of piano studies with me. Her favorite things are the color purple, Roman Noodles, Root Beer, Chips, and the Hunger Games. She enjoys swimming and playing volleyball. Interesting fact: she has been to Japan!
Ashlyn has been playing well all month and did great at Federation Festival, earning a Superior on both her performance and theory test. Looking forward to another good performance from her at Student Day. Thank you for your hard work.
