Student Day Honors Recital

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Student Day. It was an excited day as over 90 students took this all-around evaluation. Hopefully I will get the judges results by mid week. So if I do not have your child's results at this week's lesson, they will be there by next week.

I am very happy to announce that 8 students from my studio were selected for an outstanding performance and were chosen to play the Honors Concert this coming Saturday, April 20 at 5:00pm at Dollarhide's Music Center. This is a special honor to be chosen for this recital, as it shows the top performers of each levels. If for some reason you cannot make it, please let me know asap. Otherwise we will be very excited to hear these students show off their well prepared pieces.

Summer Lessons and Fall Registrtaion
Letters will go home this week with information about summer lessons. Please consider keeping the momentum going with continued lessons in the summer. These lessons are much more relaxed and students really benefit from the continued studies.
I hope everyone is planning on having their student continuing studying music next year. If so, I will need a registration card filled out by the end of May. I open up enrollment to new students June 1st. I don't want anyone to lose their spot if still interested. Please help me by making sure your re-enroll before June 1st. If you are considering moving to longer lessons (45 min or 60 min), please mark that as well, as this great effects how many openings I would have. Although it is not required, I strongly encourage students in middle/high school to take 45 or 60 minute lessons. Anyone wanting extra help or in late elementary can choose longer lessons as well. Kindergarden-3rd grade can stay at 30 min. lessons.
