Awards Recital May 28
How in the world are we at the end of another school year? I don't know, but I love the growth and changes I've seen in my students this year. "Sticking with it" has yielded some wonderful fruit. The lats week of lessons is May 18-22. The Awards Recital is May 28, Thursday night at Olive Baptist Church Choir Room. I had posted before about a Thursday and Saturday recital. No one seemed interested in the Saturday recital (which is FINE). So now you get to choose which time you'd like to come. There will be a 5:30 and a 7:00 recital. This way you don't have to stay for 2 hours of music. Please sign up on my board or have your students sign up.
Enrollment for Summer Lessons has begun. Info letters were sent home last week. If you didn't get one, just see me for one. I strongly urge you to consider having your student do something over the summer, whether some lessons, piano camp, or supervised playing with you. It usually takes about 4-6 weeks in the fall to get caught up to where we were in May. That's a big step backwards that can be avoided. I hope to see many over the summer.
Re-enrollment for 2015-2016 is underway too. Registration cards are being sent home this week. Please return the card and the registration fee by July 1. After that, registration is open for new students. Please get them in as early as possible, so I know how many openings I have.
