Sunday Dress
It's time to celebrate your student's hard work and celebrate the season. The studio Christmas recital will be on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:00 and 7:00 at Olive Baptist Church. Music does not have to be memorized. Please provide your own music, if using it. If you can bring a finger food Christmas dessert or cookie, that'd be fantastic. Just set it on the dessert table when you come in
Doors will open 15 minutes before each recital.
Directions: Enter at the University Dr entrance. Follow road to the back of the church. Enter at the Music Suite. Turn RIGHT to the choir room.
Enter at the Davis hwy Entrance, using the SECOND entrance behind the church. Follow the road to the back parking lot and proceed to the Music Suite. Enter at the Music Suite. Turn RIGHT to the choir room.
There will be no Tuesday lessons due to the recital. All other days should come as normal. This does not affect your total number of lessons. Everyone gets the same number of private lessons a year, 34, no matter which day of the week your lesson falls on.
Christmas Break
The studio will be closed from Dec 21-Jan 1 for the holidays. Lesson resume Monday, January 4th.
Please use this break to come fresh and ready, not behind and rusty. If your student is playing in Federation Festival in February, they should be able to play their whole piece by the time they arrive January 4th. This gives us a month to polish it, not learn notes.
January Tuition
Tuition is always do on the 1st of the month and is late after the 5th of the month. Please plan accordingly for January as many of us will be gone over the holiday.
Looking ahead:
January 30 - PMTA Teacher's Recital at Dollarhides 5:30 - Mark it and please bring your child. It's so good for them to see their teachers perform.
January 31 - Federation Festival Practice Day
February 6 - Federation Festival
