A fun break from our usual routine is our Studio Class during Thanksgiving week. Instead of private lessons, students get together for an hour, share a short piece they've been working on, and learn about music in a class setting. There are things we can only do in a group and this is the perfect occasion to do it. The sign up is on my board by the piano. If you can't come in to sign up, just send me an e-mail and I'll get you added to your requested time. You can choose from:

BAROQUE FESTIVAL
Baroque Festival is fast approaching. What a joy it's been to see young musicians strive for excellence early on in the school year. They will reap the benefits of a much more productive year by "tasting success" early on in the school year.
Saturday will be a fun day at Dollarhides. Musicians will travel through time to greet you. A photobooth will be set up to take pictures and share on social media. A harpsichord will be there, and you can even build your own Baroque wig! I say that to say don't be in a rush to leave. Come a few minutes early and stay a few minutes afterward.
Dress is Sunday dress for the event, unless your student wants to dress Baroque. Check in at the door and sit anywhere. Follow your program so you know when to come up to play. Give a professional bow when you are done. If you absolutely need your music, you are responsible to bring it with you.
Due to such a large enrollment,recital times were shifted slightly to create more room so you don't have to sit through a 2 hour recital. Please find your child's name below. I'm here if you have any questions. See you Saturday!
