The Christmas Recital is tomorrow night! I can't wait. You know it's at a new location this year: Olive Baptist Church. See directions below.
Here are some reminders:
1. Dress is semi-dressy. Boys in dress pants and a collared shirt or sweater. Girls in a Sunday dress or dress pants and nice top. No jeans or t-shirts please. Christmas colors, scarves, hats, are a bonus!
2. Music does NOT have to be memorized. I'm playing with me music too! So bring your book.
3. I failed to ask for parents to sing up to bring a dozen cookies or a simple finger food snack (no fork or spoon items). SOS. HELP. If you can please bring a dozen cookies or another dessert(at this point, forget homemade. Publix is great), please e-mail me and let me know. I'm VERY sorry that is last minute. There will be a refreshment table to set any cookie trays on.
4. Those in the 5:30 recital, please don't enter any earlier than 5:05. A piano lesson will be wrapping up at 5:00 before we bombard the place.
5. Those in the 6:30 recital, please wait quietly outside the choir room doors until the first recital is finished.
6. Come relaxed and have fun.

Olive Baptist Church is located at 1836 Olive Road, Pensacola, Florida 32514.
From Olive Road, take the entrance BEHIND the church on your right, not by the corner of Davis Hwy. This loops around to the right. You'll see a big carport entrance. Don't enter there. Just to the RIGHT is an entrance marked MUSIC SUITE. One you enter, the choir room is to the RIGHT.

Don't forget, the Studio is closed for lessons Christmas week and New Years Week. I will resume lessons January 5th, when the students are back in school
Please be sure your January payment gets made on time. Due the first, late fee after the 5th. Waiting until you come back for lessons (Jan 5-9) will complicate my life.
I'm putting on a Musical Theater Workshop for 5 Saturdays in the new year. The 5 Saturdays of January 17-February 14, I will be producing Highlights from Frozen with Time to Shine Performing Arts Center on Woodbine Road in Pace from 9am-12pm. I always need more guys. (I know this conflicts with Federation Festival. If interested, I can request a piano slot in the afternoon, or you can forgo one rehearsal of Frozen.) This is open to anyone in 1st -12th grades, all ability levels are welcome. Cost is $135 for the 5 weeks and performance. There is lots of singing, acting, and choreography to be enjoyed.
